Anyone here good using Flash?

I was thinking of starting an EGB collab, but I have no idea if anyone here can use flash.
Since I don't have anyone here on MSN or any other instant messaging program, I thought I'd ask you all using this topic first before creating the collab thread.
If no one here can use flash, then I'll just delete this thread eventually.

I'm fairly decent - I do a lot of small business animations, and I can fumble around in actionscript with the best of them. I'm not a good "original artist", bur I do know all the mechanics and concepts. So, depending on what you need done, I may be able to help.

Don't look at me for coding! MM MMM! NO WAY! I can probably supply audio though. :\ I really want to learn AS3.0. Sadly, the best I can do is Tween.

I can definitely help with a collab if you want. I can put all the parts together, with buttons, scenes, etc. What kind of collab did you have in mind, anyway?

I was thinking of making an EGB collab thread where participants animated their depiction of the Portal.
For example; someone might make a part that shows an army of spam marching through the portal, or someone might make a part that shows spam being trailed by the voters.
Stuff like that.

Maybe something even a little more detailed - how about 15-30 seconds of animation for each member showing themselves defending the portal or doing something related to the EGB - 3rd-person view, any perspective. Then we could group them together and use it as an animated intro to the current roster?

Wow...you guys hit the nail right on the head. That's EXACTLY the idea I had in my mind. I love it.
I only with I was better at Flash to actually contribute something worth contributing.

I just upgraded from Flash 5 to Flash CS5 (only a 10 year difference
). I'm marginal at animation, but pretty rubbish at code. However, I know what looks good and what reaches an audience and what solicits certain reactions, so I'm good for animating and producing, if those are needed.

Man, if only I would get off my ass and draw instead of talking about it. However, I could be better suited to writing a script. Hmm.
