Which vote option equals: "Enough with the obnoxious pseudo-patriotic autofellatio already"?
Honestly, I'm wondering if they even killed him. They were a little too hasty to throw away the only "real proof" they had, IMO.
Now before everyone starts with the hate, I'm all for believing that Osama is dead. It would be a monumentally risky re-election stunt if they weren't 100% sure he was in fact gone. I mean, can you imagine how hated everyone involved in announcing it would become if it turned out to be a lie? All Osama would have to do, if he were still alive now, is make another of those videos and drop it off at the nearest US embassy. Bye-bye re-election chances, Obama.
So yeah, I think it's safe to say he is indeed dead.
When and how he died, on the other hand, is another matter. There is a chance that he actually died months if not years ago, and what they really found in August was indisptuable proof of his death. The 'deliberation' over what to do might've really been over whether to admit defeat with regards to finding him, or to claim responsibility for it, knowing the only man who could irrefutably disprove them was dead. They opted for the latter, after months of deliberation.
Now I know this is unlikely, just like all the other nutjob conspiracies you see on the internet are. However, Can you actually disprove this? No. The "hard evidence" is now lying at the bottom of some random ocean in a concrete block, its whereabouts unknown to all but a handful of military and political officials.
And that's the bit I don't like about all of this. What if another country wanted to do their own DNA tests on the body to back-up those of the US? How will anyone ever be able to take an unbiased look at the "evidence" we've been given and say it's true now?
DNA testing is scientific proof of identity. For anything to be 'scientifically proven' the results must be reproducible. If no-one besides one party (with a pretty damn big vested interest in having said tests tell them what they want to hear) can actually reproduce them, then it's not scientific proof. ALL interested parties must be able to 'prove' it using their own tests for it to be accepted as scientific proof, and with the only known source of DNA now long gone, the only "proof" they have has been left wide open to criticisms and scrutiny. If a lookalike came along and impersonated Osama in a video now, there'd be precious little anyone could do to conclusively prove it was a fake.
(Okay, NOW you can all start with the hate.
